February 25th ICE-Miller the law firm that was assisting in our fight to obtain the exemption to the IRS-415 held a conference call. What was said by the IRS agent was that the ancillary duties that Sal Luciano and Deputy Commissioner Dzurenda testified about in Washington are not our core functions.  While he did believe it help the other agencies like Homeland Security, FBI & ATF he also said they have a much different mission than DOC.

Arbitrator Rules on Longevity Grievance - Arbitrator Roberta Golick ruled on SEBAC's grievance over longevity bonuses paid to state managers in 2011. Golick denied the grievance, noting that unionized state employees had their longevity frozen for 2 years under the SEBAC 2011 agreement, while managers had their longevity frozen forever.
